In the summer of 2019, LEON added a wide range of new plant-based options to their menu in their biggest ever vegan launch. This was inspired by an increasing consumer demand for vegetarian/vegan products from the chain. In January 2018, 46% of LEON’s sales were vegetarian and 34% vegan. During Veganuary 2019 this rose to 64% vegetarian and 55% vegan!

Breakfast

  • Vegan Sausage Muffin – There’s muffin meaty about our plant-based, spiced sausage patty. Paired with LEON’s fruity tomato ketchup and fresh spinach in a lightly toasted sourdough muffin. Sorry not Saus-y. *Not available as gluten-free option
  • Hash Brown
  • Ruby Red Porridge with Activated Almond Milk
  • Banana and Cinnamon Porridge with Activated Almond Milk

All Day

  • Bauble & Squeak Wrap – Our baked fritter is made with seasonal root veg, chestnuts, orange and herbs. Dressed with caramelised onion & sage mayo, topped with crispy onions and spiced pickled red cabbage​.
  • Vegan Moroccan Me*tballs Rice Box – We’ve been back to the LEON past and thrown our Moroccan Meatballs far, far into the future. Our meatless meatballs are slowly simmered in our famous Moroccan-style tomato sauce. Served with fresh herbs, toasted seeds, and garlic aioli. Grab life by the meatlessballs.
  • Brazilian Black Bean Rice Box – An instant classic. Black beans, carrots and onions, spiced with sweet and smoked paprika, oregano, sprinkled with mint and parsley.
  • Festive Mezze Salad – Seasonal roots bubble & squeak fritter, red cabbage & cranberry pickle, berbere-roasted butternut squash, LEON Hummus and seasonal slaw. Topped with fresh herbs and lemon.

Burgers

  • LOVe Burger – What the world needs now. A vegan burger topped with our LOVe Burger sauce, mustard mayo, tomatoes, pickles and a slice of smoked Gouda-style vegan cheeze.
  • The More LOVe Burger – Double the love. 2 vegan patties topped with our LOVe Burger Sauce, Carolina mustard mayo, tomatoes, pickles and a slice of smoked gouda-style vegan cheese.
